Program Philosophy
The YMCA preschool program starts with the families we serve. We, the staff take our role as educators earnestly to nurture your child’s needs in his or her individual development. We support the parent(s)/guardian(s) in their role of being the responsible and most influential persons in their child’s life. We support advocating for quality preschool programs for all families through community and state advocacy and contacts. Family input, involvement through advocacy, and volunteering in the preschool programs everyday functions is strongly encouraged by the YMCA preschool program.
Our programs meet the needs of the children enrolled by offering a high quality program that promotes the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of each child.
Statement of Purpose
The YMCA is committed to the principles of non discrimination and equal opportunity. Our programs are open to all without regard to race, cultural heritage, political beliefs, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.
